LEGAL
Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you visit our website or contact us.
1. About this policy
This policy covers the corporate website at ancynx.com, enquiries and early-access registrations sent to ANCYNX PTE. LTD. (“ANCYNX”, “we” or “us”), a technology company based in Singapore.
It does not describe the data practices of individual applications or client services. When using an ANCYNX application, refer to any privacy policy provided for that application.
2. Information you provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. This may include your name, company, contact details and details of an application or support issue.
Our contact form collects your enquiry type, email address, message and, if you choose to provide it, your name. General enquiries go to our general contact mailbox; application support enquiries go to our support mailbox. We use this information to respond to the enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to early-access or marketing emails. You can also contact us directly by email.
3. Early-access interest
If you join our early-access list, we collect your email address, optional name and optional platform preferences. We record the purpose you agreed to, the notice version, submission and email confirmation times, and any recorded invitation or withdrawal date. These details are kept in a private registration database.
After you submit, we send a confirmation link from [email protected]. The link expires after 48 hours. Opening it lets you review your request; selecting Confirm email on that page confirms your address and adds you to the invitation list. Unconfirmed submissions are excluded from invitation exports. Please use an email address you are authorised to use.
We use current, confirmed registrations for ANCYNX early-access invitations and related testing updates. We do not add ordinary enquiries to this list or use this signup for unrelated marketing. Invitations depend on the app, platform and available places; registration does not guarantee access.
You can withdraw by emailing [email protected] or using a personal leave-list link we have provided. Withdrawal stops further early-access invitations. If you have already joined a separate app test, let us know which app so we can also address the relevant testing-platform membership.
Before enrolling you in a specific app test, we will explain the test and provide its applicable privacy information. If the test uses Apple TestFlight, Google Play or another testing service, the contact/account details needed for that test may be shared with that provider after you agree to take part. Each app and testing provider has its own data practices.
4. Technical information and preferences
Our web hosting infrastructure may record technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and access times in server or security logs.
We use a necessary session cookie to protect form submissions and manage private administrator sign-in. It is not used for advertising. If you choose Light or Dark, your browser stores that appearance preference locally under ancynx.theme; choosing Auto removes the saved choice and follows your device. We do not use analytics services or advertising trackers. Fonts and website assets are served from this website.
To limit abuse, the website keeps short-lived request counters keyed to a protected hash of an IP address or email address. These counters do not contain submitted messages or readable contact details. Expired counters are removed during maintenance triggered by website or administrator activity. Personal leave-list and confirmation tokens are protected in the private database.
5. How information is used
Information from your correspondence is used to respond to your enquiry, provide support and manage any resulting business discussion. Technical logs may be used to operate the website, investigate errors and protect it against misuse. Information may also be used where needed to meet applicable legal requirements.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Our hosting and email providers process information as part of delivering those services. Where information is processed depends on the providers and infrastructure in use. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we must ensure protection comparable to the PDPA through appropriate arrangements. You can contact us for information relevant to your enquiry or signup.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a lawful request from a competent authority. If you follow a link to another website, that website’s own privacy policy applies.
7. Retention and security
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to address your enquiry and any related business or legal requirements. Retention of technical logs depends on the hosting service and operational requirements. Contact us if you have a question about the retention of your information.
Confirmed registrations expire 365 days after email confirmation and are excluded from invitation exports once they expire. Recording an invitation or submitting the same address again does not extend that period. Unconfirmed submissions become eligible for deletion 7 days after submission. Expired records are removed during cleanup when the website or administrator area is next used; they may remain stored while the website is inactive.
Once withdrawal is recorded, the person is immediately excluded from invitation exports. We retain the withdrawn record for at least 7 days to prevent an immediate repeat submission from restoring it. It then becomes eligible for deletion during the next cleanup.
We also remove corresponding working exports when their purpose ends. Backup copies follow the hosting backup lifecycle and must not be restored into an active invitation list after withdrawal or expiry.
Access to registration records is restricted to authorised personnel. We use HTTPS, password-protected administration and private server storage. We minimise the information requested and do not ask for identity documents or payment information in either form.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
8. Your requests
You may contact us to request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent. Requests are subject to applicable law and its exceptions. We may need information to verify your identity and understand the request.
To make a request or raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. Please identify the information or correspondence concerned. If a request affects our ability to respond to an enquiry or provide support, we will explain that consequence.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
